I don't know what version of Ben Harper I love most:
Ben Harper (solo)
Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals
Ben Harper and the Blind Boys of Alabama

or his newest incarnation

Relentless7 (or is it Ben Harper and Relentless7?)

I have deep feelings for all of the above and each has some pretty compelling arguments, but right now.......the wail of a distorted slide guitar is just about the sweetest sound in the world.

Relentless7's album, White Lies for Dark Times, isn't due until May 5th, but we've been given a great little taste of what to expect with 'Shimmer and Shine' (the new single out March 9th), a pounding rock song with the aforementioned distorted slide guitar.
