So we're starting a new project here at Whale In A Cubicle. An educational one. The project? We're going to post a song for every state in the United States, in order of their inductance into the Union.
Yup. For our readers in the US, this might be a good refresher of what you learned back in 4th grade American History; for all of our international readers, maybe this'll be a good primer on US geography (though probably not). As always, we hope it'll be a chance for everyone to find some new music to love. Cuz that's real education.
Check back tomorrow for our first post in the series: Delaware!

are you adding "ohio" by peter bradley adams when you come to ohio?
My plan is to not divulge any of the song choices until we get to the state... so I guess you'll just have to wait and see!
Suggestions, however, will be gladly accepted - so send them along!
Have you ever seen the Animaniacs version of singing the states and their capitols? They also have one for the countries of the world that's even catchier!
Brackett, WI - Bon Iver
