So MGMT was supposed to bring their electronic madness to SLC this past Saturday - and we were looking forward to giving you a review of these Brooklyn boys' onstage antics. Unfortunately, they moved the date back at the last minute and we weren't able to make it. Bummer.
So instead, here's a taste from their debut album, Oracular Spectacular. In the same vein as acts like Mates of State and Of Montreal, the song takes a pretty entertaining satirical look at the fate of today's rock & roll stars. Hopefully we get to see these guys play soon- but if we don't... here's to pretending.
